What can a 3D visualization study settle before construction?
Material and lighting decisions that are expensive to reverse on site. A study lets a client compare claddings against the same sun, sky and neighbouring buildings, watch shadows move across an elevation and a courtyard through the day, and see how a facade reads at dawn, noon and dusk. The same scene then exports as stills, boards and animation without being rebuilt.
What file formats do you need to produce a visualization?
A glTF or GLB export is ideal for the interactive work. FBX and DAE also convert cleanly. What matters more than the format is separation: body, glazing, metalwork and each material that needs to change should be its own named material, and any moving parts should be separate named nodes.
